No connection to SIM card

Do you experience that you have lost connection to a SIM? Here is a few things you could check.

If you loose connection to your SIM card there can be a number of different reasons why this could happen. Below is a list of things you can check on the platform.

Is you card Active?

If the SIM card is not active then it will not work until activated. First you need to find your SIM Card.

1. In the Search bar press Filter

2. Select MSISDN from the drop down list

3. Enter the phone number of the SIM Card that is not working into the Filter

4. The list should now show only the SIM Card you have search for. The column State should look like this 

5. If the button in the State column says Activate. You can press the button to activate the SIM Card.

6. If the button in the State column says Suspended. You need to contact [email protected] for getting the card reactivated.


Operator Profile is not configured correctly

If you have found your SIM Card and can see that it's activated, then it might be the Operator Profile which is not configured correctly. 

  1. Find the Operator Profile name in the Profile Column. 

2. Go to the Operator Profile menu in the left side of the screen

3. Find the Operator Profile matching the one you found in the Profile Column.

4. Press Services. The services on the Operator Profile should match the services needed for the Card. Example if the card needs to send SMS's the profile should include Outgoing SMS

5. If you do not have the right services for your SIM Card the reason can be one of two reasons.

  1. The service which you need is not part of the contract you have made with Wavely. To enable additional services please contact [email protected] 

  2. The profile needs to be reconfigured to include the service you need. Mark the profile which should be reconfigured

3. Select Edit Profile from Action Menu

4. Follow the instructions on screen to add additional services to your profile. You are only able to add services which are part of your contract with Wavely. If the service you are looking for is not present please contact [email protected]
